Time Bandits. Terry Gilliam (1981) [92/365]

This has been one of my comfort films for decades - specifically because it creeped me out when I was a child.

I could do with a good thunderstorm right about now.

I’m a Mass of Contradictions (#1)

While I make an effort to support small businesses, I rarely like to be known in them.  I want to get in, get my milk for my coffee, and get out without  having to muddle through a facsimile of a conversation with someone I don’t really know. It’s extremely difficult to do that in a small town - it’s easier to be strange in the city.

When I’m feeling down is when I should most actively avoid her, yet it’s inevitably when I’m drawn to her the most.  It doesn’t matter that it feels absurd to be so profoundly affected by the loss of a celebrity, I’m affected all the same.

I just saw a picture of a pie and thought, “Mmmm… pie.” And then, suddenly, I was so sad I was almost crying. WTF, brain?

P.S. It was a Cthulhu pie. So… yeah.
